CREATIVE ASPIRATIONS: YEW CLASS SUGGESTS

In the academic year of 2023-2024, Alannah Gilmour, Andrea Yang, Alana Surowiec, Grace Gui and Freya Kehoe worked with 27 pupils at George Mitchell Primary School to co-produce a series of on-site and at school workshops with Year 5 students. Students interviewed visitors, handled 3D printed replica objects, and analysed labels, displays and lighting in the museums.

The project concluded with students presenting a series of recommendations to the Grant & Petrie Museum's teams on what makes a museum child friendly.
